Wool Workshop- Corfe

Mar 9th, 2010 by kc | 0

Wool Workshop
WHEN - Every Wednesday (including school holidays)
WHERE - Corfe Castle Village Hall, Corfe Castle, Dorset
TIME - 9.45am - 12.30
WHAT - we are a group of 50 yarn crafters and have been running for 9 years now. We meet each week and are a very informal bunch. We meet to do what women have been doing for generations - create, chat, drink tea and put the world to rights! Although I do have to point out that we have a much cherished gentleman who knits with us and we would welcome more chaps! We have spinners, weavers, dyers, tapestry makers, and of course, plenty who knit and crochet! We run ‘workshops’ a couple of times each month where one of us passes on their craft to those who want to learn - these can vary from Dorset Button making, to felting, wire and bead knitting, anything you can think of really! If you have any interest in yarn crafts, or would like to learn, then do stop by, have a slice of cake and come and meet us.
