Children’s Half Term Activities

May 25th, 2009 by Louise | 0

If you are looking for something to do with the young ‘uns over this half term holiday there are 2 events I am running that you may be interested in, both focus on getting children inspired and enthused about our wonderful area :-

“Uncover a Secret World at Upton Woods” - children uncover the magic at Upron woods as we journey along a nature trail. There are fun activities and adventure along the way! It is for children from ages 5 - 9 years on Friday 29th September 2pm-4pm, £2 per person.

“Smugglers Tales” - Journey back in time and hear tales of bravery, secrecy and betrayal! A magical evening of story telling in an atmospheric replica quarry. There are prizes for the best dressed pirates! It is on Friday 29th September from 7pm at the Townsend Study Centre, Swanage - and it’s FREE!

Places for both of these are limited so you will need to book in advance.

If you are interested in any of these activities and / or would like to book on please contact me on 01929 557286 or email LouiseRobinson@purbeck-dc.gov.uk.

I am really looking forward to them, they will be great fun!
